MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES 1936-1946
On November 19, 2019, I went to the Douglas Town Hall to find original records. Unfortunately, I was told many records had been lost when the Town Hall basement flooded years earlier. That was disappointing. However, we got a little lucky since the Town Clerk had Marriage Certificates starting in the early 1930s, and they included Coppolas. Below are photos of the Marriage Certificates I was able to locate. These span the WWII years. Can you even imagine?
